Atlanta PARTY Report (and unsolicited analysis)
DAY 1
-----
Maggie1500 (from New York) and BAX333 (from Washington State) arrived Wednesday ahead of the pack and initially stayed with JDP2000 (in Atlanta).
Friday at 2PM JDP2000 (Julie) BAX and Maggie met Cat048 and I (mikeee007) on the deck at American Pie for lunch. We waited a while expecting that
60sHippie (from Kannapolis, NC) and mel_too (from New York) would arrive and join us. What happened is that they were there ahead of us and waited for an hour before they left and checked into the motel.
Friday evening all of us went over to E. Cobb County to my other favorite hang out, Flamingo Joe's. BAX and Hippie played some pool and the rest of us just listened to the "golden oldies" and had a more than a few of our favorite "libations". Cat and mel were our "DD's" (Designated Decoys).
All returned to the Days Inn for a few "night-caps" and all crashed forthwith! (LOL)

DAY 2

Brunch was had at the nearby THREE DOLLAR CAFE and everyone was amazed at how great their food really is. Somewhere along the way, Valentine arrived from Vidalia, GA (home of those great onions) and we were all please that she made it. Angelinuniform was not able to attend as she had planned on coming along with Valentine.
Some sort of a shopping trip ensued after brunch. I was NOT along (thank gawd).
Cat and I arrived at the Cafe290 about 7PM. A wild bachelorette party was already well underway but we were able to secure our position on the outside deck as planned.
Shortly the main group arrived en masse followd by Verri Terri and MoparChris who revealed that they were now MARRIED !! MMB (from S. Jawjah) arrived and later, Terri's sister and b/f also showed up.
Maggie and Val dominated the pool table beside the deck and jdp, MMB, Val & Maggie all were co-mingling inside with other 290 guests. Mel_too, hippie Cat and I pretty much held down the center table. We dined on coconut fried shrimp, gourmet cheese sticks and jamaican jerk chicken & salad.
Our party efforts were greatly enhanced by TOMMIE, the bartender's great drinks and sparkling mindset.
Valentine posed UPON said pool-table for several photo-OP's, Maggie scared us all by posing on the upper rail, above the deck. BAX, MMB, Chris & Terri were all intertwined all night long.
Ultinmately, Val was overcome by her sudden and repeated intakes of "Colorado BullDawgs". Initially she mertely visited the ladies room, however Chris was called upon to carry her to the car, which he did with excellent dexterity and swiftness.
(Note: Chris has recently gotten out of the US Marines and we were glad to have someone so well trained in the "dead-man-carry" (which we now call the "drunk-woman-carry"). Ultimately, jdp met an almost identical fate. Fortuately, Chris again was standing by & came to her rescue in a timely manner and this time, to a barrage of camera flashes and oooo's and ahhhhh's from some by-standers in the Cafe290 Parking lot who thought something BIG was going on. jdp was successfully deposited at the Days Inn.
It must be noted that brian393 did NOT show up !!! He must have some severe difficulties in his life.
Rounds about 2AM many of us ended up in room 226 where BAX entertained us with guitar and songs. Maggie was a willing assistant to BAX. Many a good song was sung. I can't believe that no complaints were made !!! LOL
DAY 3
-----
Evervbody went home or somewhere else...and A GREAT TIME WAS SHARED BY ALL !!! LOL
